Corporate social responsibility is our privilege
At Abbey Wealth our corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative is a humanitarian scheme that was suggested and fully developed by our team.
Abbey Wealth: Corporate partners of Care After Combat
Our current focus for support is the UK-based charity, Care After Combat.
As a veterans’ charity it focuses on providing assistance for the wellbeing of former military personnel and their families. It also maintains and promotes camaraderie in the veteran community, particularly for those feeling vulnerable or at unrest with society.
Enabling Care After Combat to achieve more
There are four strands to Care After Combat’s work that we at Abbey Wealth support:
- The Falkland Veterans Foundation – a network of support for veterans of the Falkland conflict
- First Contact – a point of immediate contact for former militarily and their families in need of help
- Phoenix – a unique project to reduce the number of reoffending veterans released from prison
- Footprints – an alcohol intervention programme
We help because we care - we help because we can
As a company we commit to making a positive difference to the charities we align with. We feel privileged to be in a position to make corporate donations, to have enabled our generous team members to make payroll giving, to sponsor and to fundraise for Care After Combat.
CSR is something we believe in and commit to as a team of like-minded human beings who care and want to make a positive difference.
